Of course, it should be pointed out(especially if you haven’t see Wall Street (which is a wonderful film, and has special prominence in today’s… ahem… market)) that the kid Gordon Gekko picks (Charlie Sheen) ends up going to jail, after testifying against his former mentor. So there’s happy endings for you.

I’ve been to lots of networking events, and it seems that everyone is looking for Gordon Gekko. Last night, I was at an IFP Summer Mixer.I was having a conversation with one individual who was looking for him so hard, he barely made eye contact with me.
